What was the HOLOCAUST?
The holocaust was a genocide spread over the entire continent of Europe. Over the course of the Nazi rule in Germany, the genocide was a deadly and torturous phase of extermination of the Jews. Why exactly was there a genocide was because of the hatred of one man, Adolf Hitler.
Hitler had nearly blamed everything on the Jews. He mostly blamed them on Germany's economic problems and why Germany had lost World War I. Also when Hitler had lived in Austria, the mayor of the city he grew up in was purely anti-Semitic, meaning he hated Jews.
Not only did the holocaust include Jews, it included Gypsies, the disabled, Poles, Soviet prisoners of war, and Afro-Germans (Blacks of Germany). Not only races of the War, but people such as Jehovah witnesses, homosexuals and obviously any enemy of the state.
Here is a video that explains what exactly the holocaust was. It describes the whole scene of events that had happened between the years of the holocaust. It also gives a view of a holocaust survivor as well.

The numbers
This is a number of Jews that had died in the holocaust. These numbers are founded by Dr. Harold Damerow, a Senior Professor of Government and History at Union County College in Cranford, New Jersey. I am only using these numbers for educational purposes, I did not alter any of these numbers they are all from Dr. Damerow.
